Careers and professional enquiries
An introduction to the work, the information useful in an application and the boundaries of a recruitment enquiry.

A relationship built
around what matters.
Private-wealth work combines judgement, technical understanding and careful handling of information. Depending on the role, it can involve client communication, investment analysis, operational accuracy or specialist coordination. An effective application explains the work you have done and the contribution you could make, rather than relying on general statements about an interest in finance.
This page accepts expressions of interest; it is not a listing of open vacancies or a promise of a graduate intake. Role availability, location, eligibility and employment terms must be confirmed in a specific recruitment conversation.
01Areas of work
Relationship work requires clear communication, an understanding of client objectives and the ability to coordinate specialists without confusing responsibilities. Investment and research work requires disciplined analysis, an appreciation of risk and the ability to explain assumptions and limitations.
Operations and technology work supports reliable processes, accurate records and controlled access. Planning and advisory work can involve coordinating ownership, liquidity and succession questions with qualified specialists. Relevant qualifications and permissions depend on the responsibilities of the particular role.
02Preparing an expression of interest
Send a concise CV and a short note describing your relevant experience, preferred area of work and location. Explain your current availability and any work-authorisation considerations relevant to the location. Early-career applicants can describe practical projects, study and the skills they want to develop without implying experience they do not yet have.
Use careers@montclairbellerive.com for recruitment enquiries. Do not include passport scans, bank details, client records or confidential material from a current employer. A CV should demonstrate your contribution without identifying private clients or disclosing proprietary information.
03A specific opportunity
Before proceeding with an opportunity, establish the employing entity, location, responsibilities and selection process. Ask which qualifications or checks are relevant and how information will be handled. The stages and timing should be confirmed for that opportunity rather than inferred from this general page.
References and additional documents should be requested through an identified recruitment contact and an appropriate channel. Do not assume an unsolicited message is genuine because it refers to your application or uses the firm's name.
04Candidate privacy and security
Application material contains personal information. Provide only what is needed at the current stage and read the privacy notice. Ask the recruitment contact about retention and deletion of your application if those arrangements have not been explained.
Never send money or authentication codes in response to a purported recruitment request. If a message asks for financial details or an urgent payment, verify it independently before responding. A job title, copied branding or a familiar email display name is not proof of identity.
05Keeping an enquiry useful
Be specific about the kind of role you are seeking. If your circumstances change, a short update is more useful than repeatedly submitting the same material. This page does not guarantee a response time or the availability of a position.
